At ISPO Munich 2020, MultiBall teamed up with HyperX and Force of Disruption to shake things up with an interactive gaming hackathon. Designed to blend physical activity with digital innovation, the event showcased the future of event gamification and sports tech engagement.
For four dynamic days, three MultiBall walls became the centerpiece of the HyperX booth, drawing attendees of all ages. Spectators didn’t just watch but became part of the exhibition as players. Over 6,000 interactive game sessions were played, with more than 500 participants daily, proving the power of gamified physical experiences.
Behind the scenes, three development teams competed in a live coding challenge, building brand-new MultiBall games in real time. The excitement reached its peak when the winning game was deployed, going from concept to reality in front of a live audience. This game is now part of the official MultiBall game library worldwide.
HyperX’s in-game branding was seamlessly integrated, creating a highly emotional and memorable brand experience for players. This hackathon transformed onlookers into engaged participants, redefining what’s possible at live events.
