The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG) supports hundreds of thousands of young people across more than 80 service units. Their mission: promote well-being and education in that field, so that no child is left behind.
In recent years, HKFYG noticed a challenge: Teens were choosing screens and digital entertainment over traditional sports. To bring new motivation, they turned to MultiBall, the interactive sports and gaming wall.
Turning Exercise into Play
From the first trial, the HKFYG team saw how MultiBall transforms workouts into exciting, game-based experiences. Children and teens who usually avoided sports jumped in right away. Competitive games encouraged teamwork, while simple challenges made it easy for all skill levels to join.
“MultiBall helps us digitize and gamify sports, making physical activity more engaging and accessible for young people,” says the HKFYG team.

Inclusive Programs for All Abilities
MultiBall now runs in HKFYG courses, workshops, and community events. It’s also a valuable tool for SEN training. Trainers use games to practice attention, reaction time, and coordination, while creating fun opportunities for turn-taking and teamwork.
One trainer recalls a shy 12-year-old who rarely spoke during warm-ups. After trying MultiBall’s math game, he quickly found confidence, calling out answers, giving high-fives, and even leading group stretches weeks later.
Building Healthy Habits with Technology
Since integrating MultiBall, HKFYG reports higher attendance, stronger motivation, and more sustained activity levels. At the Sports Lab, progress tracking tools help participants reach their daily 60 minutes of exercise in a playful way.
By blending technology, play, and wellness, HKFYG creates inclusive youth programs where confidence, teamwork, and healthy habits grow naturally.
