Product Specifications & Setup

What sizes are available?

Sizes range from 3-5 meters wide and 2.4-3.5m tall. Please find the exact dimensions here

Which projector model can I use?

Any modern projector with an aspect ratio of 16:10 WUXGA and corner correction to adjust the image will work. We recommend Panasonic projectors with a minimum of 4000 lumens, and we also offer projector packages including a projector mount, projector cage, and HDMI cable.

What is the wall material?

hukh We do not sell a wall, but a frame. The material of the wall does not matter, as long as it is straight and (painted) matt white.

Where can I mount the projector?

The best position to mount the projector is on the ceiling. It should be the closest position with the largest optical zoom. The projector should project a high-quality image at the wall that fills out the whole frame. It is possible to purchase the projector from us with the MultiBall system. If you want to purchase the projector on your own, please reach out to a local AV supplier.

Is the projector price included in the hardware?

The projector is not included, but can be purchased through us – or your local AV supplier.

Do I need a screen as well?

You don’t. MultiBall is an interactive frame that can be fixed to any wall and the picture is projected with a normal projector. Our LED systems function without projectors. Read here for more information on our LED systems.

Installation & Maintenance

What technical expertise do I need to install the system?

You need to have experience in building things and using laser levels, power drills, etc. 

What is the space required for each system?

It's recommended to leave 0,5m space left and right of the MultiBall. The recommended play area is a minimum of 5m by 5m. 

Do we need staff for the MultiBall?

MultiBall does not need supervision and is meant to run 24/7. It is not mandatory since the system is designed for stand-alone operation and remote control. For more information check our knowledge base

How often should I/do I need to perform maintenance?

We advise vacumming the bottom covers once a week and cleaning the projector filter twice a year. 

What happens if something breaks or stops working?

We advise vacumming the bottom covers once a week and cleaning the projector filter twice a year. Our technical experits will virtually check your system and troubleshoot for root cause. if there is a minor software issue, we will fix it remotely. If there is a need for exchaning physical parts, we will ship you the replacement for free if the system is under warranty. Please check our knowledge base for immediate help and reach out to our support via a service ticket in your Admin. 

Who can provide maintenance for me if I am not in Germany?

advise Remote software support is possible globally within our times of business, and can also be scheduled. Physical maintenance is minimal, as our only recommendation is to vacuum the bottom sensors once a week and clean the projector filter twice a year. 

Software, Games & Features

Which games are included on the system?

The updated list of all available games can always be found on our website multi-ball.com or the LYMB.iO mobile app, which you can download on iOS or Android.

How does the Backend work?

You will receive a login for the MultiBall admin backend. There you can customize and control your MultiBall. Here is a tutorial for how the MultiBall admin works or you can check out our admin page on the website. 

How does the App work?

The App is made for players and allows you to start games on the MultiBall via the smartphone, favorite certain games, and track your progress in each game while also competing on global leaderboards with your name. Check out our mobile app page for more information.

Can I customize the MultiBall system to match my branding?

Yes, you can customize the MultiBall with the Asset Flip Interface. Some games can be customized, including the screensaver and the system menu. To see which games can be customized, check this page. It is possible to get the physical frame in different colors, however, it is not allowed to cover our logo on the frame. If you wish to alter the logos or want to request a white-label version, please get in touch with us.

Can I set a custom screensaver?

Yes, this is possible with the Asset Flip Interface in the Admin. Click here for more information.

Can I select a few games for my system and pay only for those?

Unfortunately not. It’s a full license to run any game on your system. However, in your Admin you can select to show only certain games to your players.

How often are new games added to the system?

There is no exact schedule for new games, but new games and updates are typically released every few months.

Pricing, Sales & Monetization

How are other clients making money with MultiBall?

There are many ways to monetize MultiBall like billing clients for usage, pay-per-play (coin machine/card swipe), or events such as birthday parties or incentives. Our sales team will be happy to share information on existing businesses like yours and case studies.

How do I make money with MultiBall?

Can I have a discount?

Discounts start at a minimum order of 5 systems. This is our minimum bulk order discount. Our competitive prices are already based on offering you the best value on the market.

Why do I have to pay a recurring software license?

The software license covers remote service, server hosting, all new games, software maintenance, new app features and more.

Can I resell MultiBall in my country/region?

Yes. Please fill out our distributor questionnaire and we will be in touch.

Support, Service & Warranty

How can I contact support if I have issues?

Head over to the admin website of your system and log in with the credentials that you have received through your email. Then you can send us a support ticket with all the details. Click here for how it works exactly.

What happens if the shipment is damaged?

All packages leaving our production facilities are fully insured.

How can we get replacement parts if something is damaged?

Please send us a service ticket via your Admin so we can immediately identify your system and help you in the best way. We assess the situation to understand what happened and if it is really damaged, and then we can send a new one free of charge if under warranty. We have a 5-year warranty on all our parts.

How long is the warranty of the system?

MultiBall comes with a full 5-year warranty on all its parts. This excludes the potential projector package.

What firewall ports should be open for remote access?

The following ports must be available: 22, 53, 80, 443, 1194, all outbound only, inbound nothing is required.

Connectivity & System Requirements

Does the system need to be connected to the internet?

An active internet connection is mandatory to use the MultiBall. This makes sure your system can receive updates, new games, use leaderboards, customization, and live support. The MultiBall can only be connected via LAN, however, connecting a Wi-Fi repeater via LAN is also possible. For more details, check the knowledge base article

What upstream/downstream speeds are recommended?

A minimum of 10Mb/s is recommended. This will download games, customizations, and updates faster.

What happens if the internet goes down while using the system?

Games can still be played without an internet connection. Updates, connection to the MultiBall admin, remote support, and communication with the leaderboard system are not possible without an internet connection.

Can I integrate MultiBall with wearables or other gadgets?

Our slogan is “free motion gaming”. Therefore, we don't use any wearables or gadgets. However, we offer an API if you want to integrate any tools.
